Hi, I’m Caz, and you’ll usually find me happiest with a map in my hand and a pair of walking boots on my feet!
I’m a qualified Summer Mountain Leader with a passion for helping others build the confidence and skills to enjoy the outdoors safely. I love sharing the knowledge and experience I’ve gained over many years.
For the past 18 years I’ve been a Duke of Edinburgh Leader, supporting young people as they develop resilience, teamwork and a sense of adventure through expeditions. I’m also a volunteer leader with Girlguiding, where I enjoy introducing girls to the opportunities, challenges and fun that the outdoors can offer.
Outside of leading, my own adventures revolve around hiking, mountain days, camping and exploring new places. I’m also a bit of a map enthusiast—I genuinely love planning routes and navigating—and no walk is complete without discovering a great local tea room along the way!
In my day job, I work in Business Development within the construction industry.
For me, the outdoors is about far more than reaching a summit. It’s about building confidence, learning new skills, enjoying the journey and creating memories.
Caz is a qualified and registered tutor for the NNAS Qualification pathway, has full liability insurance and holds an Outdoor First Aid Certificate.
