COVID-19 Statement

I am now offering group navigation courses and private 121 sessions.

I have been closely following the guidance issued by the Government, Mountain Training England, the British Mountaineering Council (BMC), National Navigation Award Scheme (NNAS) Mountain Rescue and all the National Parks where I generally work with my clients. Going forward, I will ensure that I have risk assessed all group courses and outlined in my operating procedures any changes necessary so that I can keep myself and my clients safe. These documents will be made available (if requested) to any clients before booking a course with me.

I am still planning a gradual return to the hills as my priority is your safety and enjoyment.

I have produced a COVID-19 Code of Practice which every client and staff member whom I work with will need to read and sign. There will also be changes to my Medical and Consent forms.

I will continue to monitor and assess the situation.

Thank you for your continuing support. If you have any questions, please get in touch.

Due to the increased risk of exposure to COVID-19 in the Government’s Very High Risk category (Tier 3), unfortunately at this time I cannot provide any training or deliver walks or courses to anyone who lives in a Very High Risk area. This will be continually reviewed.
