All prices per person. Group size is min 2, max 4 unless specified otherwise.

  • Beginner 1-day course: £70
  • Compass Skills Day: £70
  • Beginner 2-day course: £150
  • Intermediate 1-day course: £80
  • Intermediate 2-day course: £160
  • Advanced 2-day course: £180

121 Navigation Courses

Full-day = 7 hours; half-day = 4 hours.

  • 121 Navigation course (full-day): £150 (Ratio: 1:1)
  • 121 Navigation Course (half-day): £100 (Ratio: 1:1)

NNAS Accredited Courses

  • Bronze 2-day course: £175
  • Silver 2-day course: £185
  • Gold 2-day course: £195

The (National Navigation Award Scheme) NNAS courses are identical to my other 2-days courses, but have the option of adding the NNAS accreditation and certificate. The higher cost is to cover the NNAS certificate and required NNAS administration.

ML/HML/LL Trainee Mentoring

*If you are an ML trainee and have been matched with me as part of the MTA Mentoring Programme, there is no cost to you.

I offer a discounted rate for trainees working towards their ML, HML or LL award. You need to be registered with the Mountain Training Association for one of the following awards: ML – Mountain Leader (Summer); HML – Hill and Moorland Leader; or LL – Lowland Leader.

  • Zoom calls (online coaching and support) £25/hour

ML/HML/LL Trainee Coaching Day (7 hours): £140 per person (max group size 2)

ML/HML/LL Trainee Half Day or Evening (4 hours): £70 per person (max group size 4 people)

Walks, Expeditions, Corporate Events and Specialised Courses

  • Wild Camping Expeditions (2 or 3 days). Price varies depending on number of nights.
  • Walking & Camping Trips: Price varies depending on the number of nights.
  • Group Walks: £200 per day. (Group size is a maximum of 10 people)
  • Charity Work: Discounted rates. Please get in touch
  • Business & Corporate Events: Prices available on request. Please get in touch
  • 10% discount available for returning customers. Please contact me directly for the discount code
  • Specialised courses and bespoke days including micro-navigation, night navigation, GPS devices and navigation apps. Please enquire. 
  • OS Maps Webinar: £20 per person. Maximum of 6 participants
