Beginner courses are a great place to start if you want to learn how to use a map and compass to navigate safely outdoors. This is a practical, hands-on award aimed at people with limited or no navigation experience. If you’d like to take part in an accredited course, you can sign up for the Bronze NNAS (National Navigation Scheme Award) navigation course, which is available with a certificate on completion.
Occasionally, my courses will be delivered by other team members, including Ben Hunt, ML or Becky Jeffrey, ML. I also work with other experienced instructors in the Peak District who I know and trust. If you want to guarantee that Emma Holland, ML is delivering the course, please contact Emma.
